On October 16, 2017, vote Natalie Joly for a prosperous, thriving Botanical Arts city.
Natalie Joly was raised in St. Albert, then lived in both Edmonton and New Zealand before choosing to return to her roots in St. Albert to raise her children in one of the most vibrant cities in the country.
Natalie started her St. Albert portrait photography business in 2014, where she works with families, small business, and corporate clients alike. She also works part-time for the North Edmonton Seniors Association leading an information resource program for at-risk seniors, and providing social media consulting. Natalie is a former team manager and trainer at Alberta Blue Cross. Well over a decade ago, she was a City of St. Albert employee at Fountain Park Pool and regulars of those days often stop and speak with Natalie as she attends many of St. Albert’s community and cultural events.
Natalie was appointed to the St. Albert Community Services Advisory Board (CSAB) in 2014, and is currently serving as vice-chair in this volunteer role. She also volunteers with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, a not-for-profit that offers services to families experiencing the loss of a child. Her time on the St Albert Community Advisory Committee also provided excellent insight into the role of the RCMP and the related support services. With almost 17 years of involvement with the local whitewater kayaking community, Natalie is also an avid kayaker and outdoor enthusiast, with a tremendous appreciation for nature and its value within urban centres.
Natalie is committed to helping the City of St. Albert thrive as a vibrant and safe community that has a growing business sector and strong long-term financial stability. She is committed to supporting St. Albert City Council by being a leader in transparency, accountability, respectful discourse, and informed decision-making.
