Planning & Development: Industry

I don't have anything to add to this excellent commentary, except to say that we are slowly getting better, and I'm proud of the work that Economic Development has done in Riel, in Shops on Boudreau, in Campbell Park, and in the north and west parts of the city. Council has directed Administration to develop sustainable business that fits with our community, they're making progress, and I expect that both Admin and Council will learn from mistakes like these. Commercial development is crucial in St. Albert, both to expand our tax base to provide relief for residential home owners, and to provide a supportive infrastructure for local business, but planning cannot be casual.
